CARLISLE - Stacie Ackerman-Hopper, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully Friday, February 16, 2024 at her home at the age of 46. Born in Sellersville, PA on May 24, 1977, she was the daughter of Pamela Hopper (husband, David Lutz) of Carlisle and Scott Ackerman (wife, LaVonne) of Palm Beach Shores, FL. She was the stepdaughter of R. Andrew Hopper (wife, Karen) of Camp Hill, PA.
Stacie is survived by her beloved son, Alex Pryor of Carlisle.

She was "Aunt Sis" to her "little love bugs": Beau, Bella and Evelyn.
Stacie pursued academic studies at Ithaca College, University of Maryland, Montgomery College, HACC and the Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences, where she ultimately earned her Registered Nursing license.
Over the years, she worked in a variety of nursing fields, including Utilization and Case Management, ER Nursing, Elder Care, Behavioral Health and Prison Nursing.
Those who knew Stacie appreciated her sharp wit, keen sense of humor, and her creative talents. She was an excellent cook, and self-proclaimed "foodee". She enjoyed patio gardening, and grew her own herbs and tomatoes. Stacie has gone home to be in peace with the Lord.

My prayers are with Alex and his family. For many years Stacie and I were side-by-side, dressing our sons to perform dance numbers. I enjoyed her bubbly personality and humor. She was a devoted mother and a sweet person. - Cheryl Brooks
