Betty was born April 8, 1943 to Elmer and Ruth (Williams) Riley. She had a passion for life and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Betty enjoyed tending to her lawn and gardens, working as a neonatal nurse and had a love for country line dancing that cannot be expressed with words. She was a lifelong and die-hard Notre Dame Football and Green Bay Packers fan and was known to scream rather loudly at the television while watching her teams play.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
Elmer and Ruth Riley; son, John Kevin Neeld and her beloved husband, Wesley "Sonny"
Neeld.
She is survived by daughter, Weslyn Standard and husband, Jamey of Midland, TX;
son, Derek Neeld and wife, Crystal of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Bill Riley of Ridgway,
Colorado; nephew and niece: Erin and Logan Riley; grandchildren: Justin and Blake
Neeld of Hobbs, NM, Tyler, Talyn and Tanner Standard of Midland, TX and Dax, Athena and Draven Neeld of Carlsbad, NM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Autism Speaks,
1060 State Road, 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.

A loss of our loved ones is never easy to deal with, but we have hope. We are given a promise and hope that we can see our loves again. They will live on the earth, in peace, and forever.

Sweet, funny, "kept you laughing" Betty! She was one of a kind and always had a smile as big as Texas and a heart to match! I will be praying for all of her family as they say "see you later" to a beloved person.
