Isaac Prieto Hernandez was born in Ruidosa, Texas, on June 3, 1921, to Juan and Maria (Prieto) Hernandez and was raised in Marfa, Texas.
Isaac and Socorro (Molinar) Hernandez were married on July 11, 1943, and would have celebrated their 71st Anniversary.
Isaac served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945. During his early years of retirement, he served the community by spending every day for three years at the soup kitchen helping serve lunch and cleaning. He enjoyed walking every day with his dog and riding his four-wheeler. He enjoyed his family and loved his great-grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Not sure what to say?

To the Hernandez family I express my deepest condolences for your loss.

As a fellow Knight I noticed Mr Hernandez was not much for words, but was an inspiration as he would speak volumes through his work and actions. He was definitely someone to be admired. I will miss seeing him at San Jose Church where he would always greet me with a warm smile and a firm handshake.

God Bless,

Eddie E. Carrasco
