My mother Odessa "Pantazis" Bolton so enjoyed her visits to Jim, I knew him since I was a toddler. I am 63 now. My Mom used to say they were partners in crime, then laugh for a long time. He tolerated me, not the kid type but did like playing jokes on me.

Jim, a final word from your friend Dr. Ron Meek. I was unable to attend your funeral, however, you were in my thoughts all day. I called your long-time very close friend, Mary Ann Wright, who is my Mom's Sister and my favorite Aunt for all of the details. My First Cousin, Jerry Wright, and my Brother-In-Law David Taylor, also long time friends of yours, were Pall Bearers. It was an honor to both Jerry and Dave as well as all of our Family that you requested they both be Pall Bearers at your final funeral service. We all felt you were family, and will always cherish the many visits when you came to our family homes, the wonderful meals we shared, the many stories you told us, the long conversations we had, the Grayson County College, Fielder Scholarship that was awarded to David and Patsy Taylor's Son Patrick, and the many hours of mentoring you did for all of Aunt Mary Ann's Family and Friends. We all look forward to being together again someday with you in heaven. You led a wonderful life Jim, with many good memories for everyone. Again, Rest In Peace My Friend! Dr. Ron Meek, Henderson Nevada, Past Grayson County College Instructor.

Jim, words cannot express how much we love you and will miss you. Thank you for impacting our lives in only the way you could. Those life lessons you taught us are now rock solid convictions. I know Peep and Memi are thrilled to have both of their children finally home. To the Jeffress family: At times it is over whelming to know God chose me to receive your loving kindness, your example, your direction and your rock solid teaching. You are a beacon of light...you are my beacon of light in this very dark world. But that light simply illuminates the realization that it is God who I have seen ... through you. With deepest gratitude and love,

My first professional position as Agriculture Instructor at Grayson County College was when the College was under the leadership of Jim's father. The Fielder family has done so much for the community over the years and Jim was one of the family who supported all of those efforts. He could tell interesting story after story about our area and history. Rest in Peace my friend! Dr. Ron Meek, Henderson, Nevada, Past Grayson County College Instructor.
