Jason Douglas Bergstrom Cirio

Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 20 at the First United Methodist Church in Artesia, New Mexico for Jason Douglas Bergstrom Cirio. Mr. Cirio, 33, died April 6, 2017 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Pastor Monty Leavell will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary. Burial of the cremated remains will follow the services at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Jason was born in Englewood, Colorado on April 20, 1983 to Daniel Charles Cirio and Linda (Bergstrom Cirio) Pastorello. He was an Artesia resident since 1992 after moving from Virginia. He was an Artesia High School graduate in 2001. Jason was a foreman crane operator for Mosaic Construction. He was a regular attendee of Centre Ave. Baptist Church, participated in the Elks Lodge, and was part of the United Steel Workers Union. He was preceded in death by his father, and his maternal & paternal grandparents. Survivors include his mother Linda Pastorello and step-father Tony; sister Rachel Devereaux and husband Jeff; brothers Dru and Casey Cirio; nieces Madison and Ashley Devereaux; girlfriend Heather Edwards, her daughter Chloe and their son Hayden.
