Michael Carrasco Obituary
Guadalupe Medrano Carrasco and Antonio A. Carrasco.
Michael attended Grammar School in Malaga until his parent moved to
Reedley California where he attended StLaSalle Catholic School. He
graduated from Reedley High School in 1970. He graduated from San
Fernando State University with a Degree in Political Science in 1974.
Michael Graduated from Hasting School of Law in San Francisco in 1978,
passing the New Mexico Bar exam on his very first try. Michael returned
to Carlsbad New Mexico to start his Law practice in Carlsbad in 1978.
Michael was loved and admired by many for being a kind and fair person
who championed the less fortunate. He will be greatly missed by all.
Michael was preceded in death by his Parents Lupe and Antonio; as well
as his brothers Vicente, Steve, Jesse, Antonio, Merced.
He survived by his Fiance Dora Granger; sisters; Martha Sanchez,
Juanita Dibble, Bertha Carrasco, Florentina Anaya,(CA) Cristina
Monsanto(N.C), Mary F Contreras (NY), Children; Stephanie James,
Angelica Carrasco, Xavier Carrasco, Monique Carrasco all from
California. 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildren, Special niece
Barbara Davis, Special Nephews Jesse Carrasco & Joe Carrasco(CA),
Nicolas Carrasco(Carlsbad,) along with tons of nieces & nephews, and his very special pet Marley "Traviesa"
