Marian Maciejewski Obituary
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at 10 a.m., at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Broken Bow with Father Jim Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Howard County Memorial Medical Center.
A rosary service will be Monday at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. www.govierbrothers.com
Marian was born March 2, 1925, at Grand Island, to William and Rebecca (Leiser) Vocke.
She grew up and received her education in Sherman County.
Marian was married to Roman Maciejewski Nov. 20, 1956, at Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Paplin.
They resided on a farm North of Litchfield, until 1985 when they moved to Broken Bow. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband with farming and ranching.
Marian was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Altar Society.
Marian enjoyed feeding the birds, playing cards, gardening and baking.
Mr. Maciejewski died in 2007.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Dwight) Johnson of Broken Bow; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Vocke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman; her brothers, Robert, Frank and William Jr.; and sisters, Margaret and Irene.
