Stella Amsberry, 82, of Ansley, Neb. passed away peacefully Jan. 5, 2022 surrounded by her loving family, at the Arbor Care Centers in Ord.

Cremation was chosen, A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Stella was born July 30, 1939 to Kenneth and Virginia (Cox) Holmes. She grew up in Ansley where she graduated High School before going on to earn her Nurses Cap in Grand Island.

On Dec. 21, 1958, Larry Amsberry took Stella's hand in marriage at the Ansley United Methodist Church. In the coming years they would be blessed with four children - Lanny, Susan and twins Regina and Jenny.

The family of six flourished on the family farm east of Ansley. During this time Stella worked tirelessly as a devoted wife and mom.

Larry and Stella later moved to California where they successfully managed residential properties. While there, they also enjoyed spending time with family in the area. Upon returning to Nebraska, they retired and settled in, back home in Ansley.

On December 21, 2021, the loving couple celebrated 63 years of steadfast marriage. All their children were in attendance.
