Wave Price Obituary
Wave was born January 11, 1918, in Custer County to Charles and Anna (Sturdevant) Freeman. Wave's father died in an automobile accident when she was 3 years old. Her mother later married James Orvis.
Wave graduated from Milburn High School in 1935. She than went to Business School in Grand Island, NE.
Wave married Marvin Price in Smith Center, Kansas on December 30, 1937.
Wave is preceded in death by her husband Marvin in 1990, parents, step-father, a nephew and a niece.
Wave is survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Wave will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 10:30 AM in Govier Brothers Chapel, with Don Schauda officiating. Burial will be in the Westerville Cemetery at 1:30 PM in Westerville, NE. Memorials will be designated to Westerville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2018, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, NE. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of the arrangements. My condolences to Wave's family. She were such a sweet lady. I enjoyed my visits with her over the pass 9 years. I was so excited to finally find her. I had heard family stories about Wave but hadn't had a chance to meet Wave until 2009. My great grandmother, Georgia Orvis Mason was her step-sister. I appreciate her sharing family history & photos with me. Wave will always have a special place in my heart.
