Jordan Dakota Blaise Sims

Jordan Dakota Blaise Sims, 12, of Greenwood, VA passed away on Wednesday May 14, 2025. He was born on September 9, 2012 and is survived by his loving and devoted Grandmother, Virginia "Ann" Lamb, whom he called "MawMaw", his older Sister; Chardnea Sims, his younger Brothers; Brayden Lefcourt and Landyn Sims, and his Mother, Kirstie Sims. He is also survived by a large, close-knit family including his Aunt Heather Breeden and her Husband Eric, his Uncle Harvey Garrison, Grandfather Harvey Sims, Great-Uncle Rodney Lamb and his Wife Sabrina, his many Cousins Eric, Kelsey, Casey, Kinsleigh, Justin and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his Cousin Joshua Lamb. There are so many amazing qualities about Jordan but to name a few, he was a fun loving, kind, and goofy young man. He was a fierce friend, especially to his sister, with whom he enjoyed playing games, riding bikes and talking about anything and everything for hours. He loved music, Spider Man, and homemade fries. Jordan's dream was to become an officer of law through the military, and there is no doubt he would have achieved that dream with his dedication, determination and strength. He was a role model to those younger than him, and an inspiration to those who were older. His smile and laugh would light up any room he walked into, and he would make sure everybody in that room was smiling and laughing before he left. He left a lasting impact on everyone he met, and made everyone's lives so much better. A public visitation and memorial will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm Tuesday May 20, 2025 at the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department at 5652 Three Notch'd Rd, Crozet, VA 22932. He will then be laid to rest in a private committal service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department at Crozetfire.org.
