Louise Taylor Obituary

Louise A. Taylor of Charlottesville, VA was called home on February 3, 2025, after an extended illness, hospital and rehab stays. She was born April 9, 1931, in Schyler, VA. Preceding her in death were her parents Arthur Morrison and Naomi Mayo Morrison, her husband Harry L. Taylor and nine siblings. Louise attended and completed her education at Jefferson High School in Charlottesville. She was employed by and retired from the University of Virginia Hospital, where she held several positions. She was also a faithful member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. Leaving to cherish her memory is her daughter Brenda Harris and son Gregory Taylor (Corey), grandsons Aubrey Harris III, and Quincy Harris, great-grandchildren Imahni Harris, Mryanni Harris and Monique Harris. The family would like to thank Lisa Michie, a close friend and dedicated caregiver, Albemarle Health and Rehab, UVA Primary Care, UVA Kidney and Cardiac Clinics for their care and concern. The funeral service will take place Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 10:00am at Pilgrim Baptist Church 211 Albemarle St. Charlottesville, VA. The interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Charlottesville, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Pilgrim Baptist Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.hillandwood.com.
