Patrice Ketterer Obituary

Patrice Ketterer, 72, of Palmyra, Va., died on February 27, 2025 at her home in Palmyra. Born March 8, 1952 in Willimantic Conn., she was the daughter of William and Verna Walenda, who preceded her in death. Patrice was a graduate of East Hampton High School and served her country with compassion as a Military Nurse. She later worked as a Certified Medical Assistant in Oregon. Patrice joined her husband, John, in heaven for their birthday and was survived by her daughters Christina Clack, Samantha Ketterer and Lexijade Carsino Westbrook; his grandchildren Joshua Hubiak, John Clack, Carissa Clack, Kavalianevaeh Carsino Westbrook, and K Case Jax Carsino Westbrook; his great-granddaughter Luna Hubiak; her sisters Penny Medbery and Lori Sutherland; as well as her brothers Scott Walenda and Francis Schieldge. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Hill and Wood Funeral Home, 201 N. 1st Street, Charlottesville, VA 22901. The service will be live streamed via Zoom. Condolences may be sent to the family on the Tribute Wall.
