Thomas Wolfe Obituary

Thomas Wesley Wolfe Jr., of Keswick, passed away on December 29, 2024, he was 91 years old. He was born on August 19, 1933, to the late Thomas W. Wolfe, Sr. and Cora Lee Abell Wolfe. Thomas is survived by his wife Carlene H. Wolfe and by their children: David Wolfe (Cindy), Suzi Powell, Anthony Capps (Connie), Dana Capps, and Carla Crawford (Bill). He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Jordan, Summer, Wesley, Kendall, Buck, Adria, Willy, Madison, and their families, all of whom, will miss him dearly. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Electrical Engineering. As an accomplished Engineer in the telecommunications industry, he had a long and successful career. Outside of work he enjoyed the outdoors, looking for arrowheads, and was also a rockhound, a shell collector, and enjoyed finding the perfect specimen to bring home from each family trip. Thomas was always a hard worker and full of ingenuity. After his double amputation above the knee, Tom built himself a ramp so that he could still get out to cut the grass as a testament of his strong will and determination. He had a deep sense of humor and friendliness that those closest to him knew and will miss. Perhaps one of his strongest traits though, was his deep and abiding faith. He was active in his church, Calvary Chapel Keswick, formerly First Christian Church, where a funeral service will be held to honor his life at 12:00 Noon on Friday January 3, 2025, at Calvary Chapel Keswick, 3285 Keswick Rd, Keswick, VA 22947.
