LOVERA, Francesco Antonio
November 12, 1929 - January 9, 2015
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Francesco Antonio Lovera, devoted and loving husband of Lidia for 59 years. Francesco was predeceased by his daughter Silvana; parents Filippo and Pasqualina; sister Antonietta Marrello (Dave) and is survived by his son Phil (Adriana); daughters Lina (Dan) and Francesca (Sebastiano) and nine wonderful "pieces of my heart" grandchildren; Adam, Silvana, Julia, Bianca, Daniel, Matteo, Melissa, Kayla and Alfonso. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to family members, friends and medical professionals who supported Francesco and his family. Catholic prayers will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, located at 2025 Napier St., Vancouver to be followed by a Funeral Mass on Friday, January 16 at noon at the church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canucks Autism Network.

To the entire Lovera family , my condolences to all of you. Unfortunately i cannot attend the services but my thoughts and prayers are with you. I have some fond memories of Frank especially when he returned from his hunting trips with my father . As a little boy I wondered how Santa would ever deliver Christmas presents , after all they had all the deer!
Frank always greeted you with a smile , looked you in the eyes and offered his hand to shake. An Old school man the way we love them and miss them. May he rest in peace.....
