Died: March 12, 2018; in Plano, TX
Caleb John Thompson, of Plano, Texas, passed away March 12, 2018, following a traffic accident, at the age of 28.
He was born on December 29, 1989 to Kerry D. and Sherry K. (Nepean) Thompson in DeKalb, Illinois. He was a 2008 graduate of Rochelle Township High School. Caleb moved to Plano, Texas in 2010 and was employed with Central Market for the last 6 years. His hobbies included listening to all different types of music; but especially blues and jazz, fishing, playing frisbee golf, camping, and cooking. Caleb loved sports, and was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan. He loved spending time with his family.
Caleb is survived by his parents, Sherry (Nepean) Thompson of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kerry Thompson of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; grandparents, Darlene (Ray) Plumley of Cortland and John (Diann) Nepean of Freeport; sister, Shannon (Chris) Catullo of Lucas, Texas; brothers, Jeremy (Misty) Smith of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Derek (Alisha) Thompson of Pinedale, Wyoming, and Kasey Thompson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; aunt and uncle Dawn (Dan) Curtis of Cortland and John Nepean Jr. of Madison, Wisconsin; great uncles and aunts Ronnie (Judy) Olsen, Donna (Denny) O'Donnell and Roger Olsen all of Cortland; 10 nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; and girlfriend, Elizabeth Barnes.
He is preceded by his great grandmother, Mildred (Mickey) Olsen; and grandparents, Keith and Barbara Thompson.
A celebration of life will be held April 7, 2018, 11:00 to 5:00pm at Noah's, 351 Southwind Ln., Fairview, Texas.
