Darrell Maness Obituary
Darrell Leroy Maness, 65, of Spring Hill, FL, passed away September 18, 2017.
Mr. Maness was a graduate of Sycamore High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member and former officer of the Sycamore Moose Lodge and a member of the American Legion in Genoa, IL. He retired from AG Communications Systems after more than 25 years of employment. He enjoyed working and spending time with his friends and family. He loved dancing with his wife, Beverly.
He is survived by his children, Shelly (Wray) Martin of Spring Hill, FL; Derek (Amber) Maness of Dekalb, IL; Melissa (Spiros) Therapos of Sycamore, IL; Amber (Justin) DeRaimo of Belvidere, IL; stepdaughter, Heidi Aeschlimann of Spring Hill, FL; stepmother, Jean Maness of Sycamore, IL; many grandchildren; sisters, Deborah (John) Pierce of Kirkland, IL; Jennifer Maness of Sycamore, IL; brothers, George (Linda) Maness, Jr. of Sycamore, IL; Perry (Jeanne) Maness of Sycamore, IL; Thomas (Bonnie) Boan of Sycamore, IL.
He was preceded in death by his wife,, Beverly Maness; father, George Maness, Sr.; and mother, Veda Miller.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to D.A.V. (www.dav.org).
A graveside service at Florida National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home, Bushnell, Florida.
