Jackson M. Evans, 3, of Genoa died, July 25, 2022 at Comer Children's Hospital in Chicago. He was born August 30, 2018, in Huntley the son of Matthew R. and Jessica L. (Rhoads) Evans. He enjoyed playing Nerf wars and video games, collecting Fortnite action figures, Hot Wheels, being active outside, and fighting "zombies." Jackson loved to dance, especially to DJ Marshmello. He always wanted to play football and baseball with his big brother. He loved horses like his big sister. He was known for being an incredibly silly prankster with an "old man" laugh. Jackson made an impact on everyone who met him.
He is survived by his parents; siblings, Savannah and Rhett; grandpa, Mark Rhoads of Amboy; grandparents, Michael and Pamela Evans of Des Plaines; aunt and uncle, Samantha (Zac Loeffert) Rhoads of Oswego and Jacquie Evans of Des Plaines; cousin, Emmett, who was his best friend; and many other honorary aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Christy Rhoads.
Memorial Service will be held at 12pm Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Crosswind Community Church, 13100 Cherry Rd., Genoa, IL 60135, following visitation from 10am-12pm.

We miss you so much, Jackson. I know that you are in heaven, though. Be good, and have a lot of fun playing with the animals and meeting great grandma Jacquie and PopPops Ken. We miss you.
