Kathleen Mary Hermach, nee Heller, age 77, a former resident of Sycamore, IL, passed away June 3, 2022 at Alden Estates of Naperville. She was born on September 28, 1944 in DeKalb, IL.
Kathleen is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Kenneth; her loving children, Susan (Paul) Garlisch of Cortland, IL, Patricia (Tony) Cesarini of Naperville, IL, and David Hermach of Chicago, IL; cherished grandmother of Jacob and Elizabeth Garlisch, Joseph, Michael and Danielle Cesarini. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Margaret Heller; and her brothers, Frank (Sylvia) and Michael (Louise) Heller.
Born in DeKalb, Illinois at St. Mary's Hospital, she attended St. Simeon Catholic School for grade school and then on to Proviso West High School in Hillside, IL. During High School she enjoyed going to morning dance and was in the Pep Club. It was here that she met her future husband, Ken Hermach, during Freshman year homeroom class.
She held a number of positions during her career with ALCOA and Dean Foods, where she worked her way from secretary to Computer Software Professional.
In her younger days, Kathleen enjoyed fishing trips, playing music and singing with her family. In later years, she enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, painting and crafting. More recently, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren doing crafts and sharing family stories.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23rd from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Family and friends are invited to gather for the Memorial Mass at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 2220 Lisson Ave., Naperville, IL 60565 at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24th.
