Kurt J. Krause

Kurt J. Krause, age 60 of DeKalb, IL, died on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL. He was the son of George and Elizabeth (Henkle) Krause.

Kurt was married to the former Sandra "Topaz" Sumka on August 8, 1981 in La Grange, IL. Kurt was a Full Charge Accountant for many years. He was a member of Christ the Teacher University Parish in DeKalb. He graduated from Morton West High School in Berwyn, IL and also received his Associates Degree from Morton College in Cicero, IL.

Survivors include: wife: Sandra "Topaz" Krause of DeKalb, sons: Philip David Krause and Russell Krause both of DeKalb, sister: Kris Cihlar, and brothers: Kenneth and Paul Krause. Preceded in death by: parents, and daughter: Julie Krause.

Funeral Mass will held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the Christ the Teacher University Parish in DeKalb with Father Matthew Mc Morrow officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2018 from 9:30 AM till the time of the service in the church. Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.
