Dr. Martin Williams Born: October 1, 1941, in Barbados, West Indies, passed away on July 18, 2021, in Sycamore, IL. at the age of 79. Dr. Williams was a Professor at Northern Illinois University Economics Department for 28 years with Emeritus status. Dr. Williams was surrounded by his loving wife of 56 years Molly E. Williams, his son Hamilton, and daughter Terry.
No Service will take place at this time. An Interment Service will take place in Barbados, West Indies at a later date.

To my dear Aunt Molly, cousins Hamilton & Terry...please accept my deepest sympathies as you navigate through the loss of your husband & father. Uncle Martin was an amazing man & was always encouraging everyone to be & do their best. He will be missed but we're forever grateful he is no longer suffering...We love you Uncle Martin, may your soul rest in eternal peace.

I am deeply saddened over the passing of my great friend and colleague Martin. He was a very kind, thoughtful and loyal person. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. His passion for learning and understanding the human condition was inspirational. He made me a better person and will be sorely missed.
