Died: Oct. 29, 2014; in DeKalb, IL
Nola A. Blaschke, age 90, of Sycamore, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center.
She was born November 11, 1923, in Arkansas. The daughter of Irving R. and Florence (Dixon) Jones.
Nola was a faithful member of the Sycamore United Methodist Church, and was a retiree of General Electric in DeKalb.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Timothy) Glander of Whitewater, WI; two grandchildren, Alisa Sanders of OH and Jeron Glander of Sycamore; one sister, Laverne Bradsher of Pampa, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Blaschke; one grandson, Mark Sanders; and one brother, James Jones.
A private family graveside will be held at the Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb.

I always enjoyed visiting Nola at the Grand Victorian. She welcomed me and asked about what was going on at church. She missed us and now we'll miss her.
