I WAS SO SHOCKED TO LEARN OF MRS. PAT DEATH. IT HURT MY HEART TO KNOW THAT A SPECIAL ANGEL WAS TAKEN. THEN I REALIZE THIS ANGEL HAD OTHER DUTIES TO FULLFILL IN A HEAVENLY PLACE. SHE WAS TRULY A GREAT PERSON. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF WORKING WITH HER IN PLAQUEMINE. SHE WAS A KIND AND GENTLE PERSON WHO SEEM TO ALWAYS PUT THE NEED OF THE PATIENT BEFORE ANYTHING. WHEN SHE FIRST STARTED HERE THE PATIENTS WERE RELUCTANT TO SEE HER BECAUSE THEY DID NOT KNOW HER BUT AS TIME PASSED ALL THOSE WHO SAW HER HAD SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS OF A GREAT PEERSON THAT WAS HIRED TO OUR TEAM. SHE WAS A GREAT NURSE AND KIND AND GENTLE PERSON. I WAS SO HURT WE I LEARNED SHE WOULD BE MOVING ON BUT I KNEW IT WAS FOR THE BEST. PATIENTS TO THIS DAY STILL ASK ABOUT 'MS. PAT'. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

I was so saddened to hear of Ms. Pat's passing. She was such a wonderful person. I had the honor of working with her at Jefferson Manor. i found her to be a caring, fun and compassionate nurse. she never stopped caring for others. If a patient that was not her's asked her a question or had a problem, she would take her time and help them by listening to them or buying them a coke or some chips. Ms. Pat was full of life and I enjoyed talking with her on her weekly visits to the nursing home. I also enjoyed her wit and charm. she always talked about her family and her work at the clinic in mexico. I can remeber her telling us she would be gone for 2 weeks and that we could not reach her by phone, but when she got a phone that we could call her in mexico we called just to hear her voice and put our order in for what we wanted her to bring us back. I know that you knew what kind of wife and mother you had but she was a great nurse , person and friend. She will be deeply missed !

I will always remember Pat as having the biggest heart of any person I know. She was truly a patient advocate and I feel priviledged to have worked beside her and learned from her the true meaning of compassion.
Our trip to India will always be a highlight of my life because I had so much fun with Pat!
Please accept our condolences. May God comfort you in your time of sorrow.

Dear Pete & Family,
Every time I think of Pat I smile. Her laugh, her jokes, and her love for life were contagious. She was truely an inspiration for me, and no one could ask for a better friend. She cared about her patients more than anyone I know. Pat always went above and beyond, and her patients knew that she loved every one of them. I consider it a priviledge to have worked with her at the Family Health Center. Pat embraced every second that she was on earth...those wonderful memories are forever burned in my heart. Please accept my sympathy and find comfort in knowing that God's love will soften your pain.
