Phoebe J. Beach, 77, of Kingston died Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Kishwaukee Hospital.

She was born July 27, 1938, in Barbourville, KY. The son of Charles and Bertha Payne. She married P. R. Beach in February of 1959. Phoebe worked for Anaconda Wire and Cable for many years. She then was employed at Alloyd in DeKalb, retiring after several years of service. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her loving family. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherri (Terry) Brooks; 2 step-children, Debra Harrison and April McCamey; 4 grandchildren, Amy (Bill) Rich, Don Carlson, Dakota Carlson and Cody Beach; 3 great grandchildren, Billy Ray, Jessica and Lilly; one sister, Mary Payne; 2 sisters-in-law, Betty J. Ward and Velma Beach; 2 brothers-in-law, Kyle Henry Beach and Hal G. Beach and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 sons, Billy Arnold Beach and Larry Beach; one sister, Beatrice Shelton and 3 brothers, Arnold, Raymond and Clyde "Shorty" Payne.

Her visitation will be on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa. Her funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 17 th at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Randy McCoy officiating. Burial will be at the Kingston Cemetery.
