Robin L. Thorson, age 67, of Hinckley, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center in DeKalb, IL.

She was born on December 7, 1949 in DeKalb, IL the daughter of Arthur J. and Carol (Eberly) Bergstrand.

Robin was united in marriage on October 18, 1969 to Mr. Clarance "Al" Thorson and they spent the next 47 happy years together. Mrs. Thorson was a member of Cortland United Methodist Church in Cortland, IL. Robin was employed for 12 years as a Mary Kay Consultant. She enjoyed several hobbies including basket weaving and scrap booking. Robin was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Robin is survived by her husband, Al Thorson of Hinckley, IL; her children, Hilary Krueger of Hinckley, IL and Kyle (Rachelle) Thorson of Aurora, IL; her grandchildren, Evan M. Krueger and Lillian M. Thorson; her mother, Carol Bergstrand of Hinckley, IL; her brothers, Eric Bergstrand, Chris (Cindy) Bergstand, Swen Bergstrand and Lief Bergstrand; also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Bergstrand and her sister, Anita Kopko.

A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 North Maple Street in Hinckley, IL with Pastor Rosa Lee, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Funeral Home in Hinckley, IL.
