Gladys Davies Obituary
Gladys Davies, 83, of Hinckley Illinois, passed away on Thursday, February 12th at her home in Hinckley, IL. Gladys was born in Johnston City, Illinois to Audrey and Leborn Jent on August 2nd, 1942.
She married James Davies on December 13th, 1958 in Plano, Illinois. She worked as a gift shop manager for Howard Johnsons in Dekalb, Illinois for many years.
Gladys is preceded in death by her sisters Shirley Hampton and Vivian Staton and brothers Liston and Arnold Jent.
Gladys is survived by her husband James and 5 children; Rebecca Buckley(David), David Davies, John Davies(Glenda), Jess Davies, and Amy Borys(Mick), brother Curtis Jent, and sister Phyllis Rudolph, 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks you to make donations to Open Door Rehabilitation Center, 405 Wells Street, Sandwich Illinois 60548.
Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on Monday, February 16th, 2026 at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St, Sandwich IL 60548. A funeral service will follow at 12pm. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
