Roger H. Fant, 69, of Sycamore, Illinois, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born November 15, 1954 in Sycamore, Illinois, the son of Harold and Helen (Wing) Fant.
Roger attended Sycamore High School. He was a Veteran of the US Marines. Roger was employed at General Electric in DeKalb until he retired. He loved cars, motorcycles, fishing, camping and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Fant; children Chris (Tina) Fant, David (Vicki) Fant, Misti (Buddy) List, Chad (Andi) Fant, Cory (Amaya Hoffmann) Fant, Amy (Memo) Arellanes, Elizabeth (Richard) Collins, Ian (Brittany Dudley) Collins; twenty grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; his siblings Judy (Ernie) McGee, Janet (Mike) Marguart, and Linette (Tomas) Pillion.
He was preceded in death by his son Richard Fant, his sister Barbara Fant and his grandson Cody Ward.
A celebration of life will be held at the Sycamore Odd Fellows Lodge at 131 Sabin St. Sycamore, IL 60178 on February 17, 2024 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Fant Family in care of the Odd Fellows Lodge at 131 Sabin St., Sycamore, IL 60178.
