Thomas M. Kuchynka, 65, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023.
He was born August 29, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Thomas and Louise (Kosek) Kuchynka.
Thomas was a counselor for soldiers who returned from high stress combat. He enjoyed playing cribbage, golfing, fishing and watching baseball and football with his family.
He is survived by his children Charles (Kaley) Kuchynka of Phoenix and Mara Kuchynka of DeKalb; his grandson Andrew Kuchynka; his sisters Clare (Dan) Bobo of Hawaii and Laura Davis of Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenneth Kuchynka.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
