WILLIAM OSBORNE Obituary
Born Oct. 25, 1942, in Sycamore, the son of Nobel and Mercedes (Moudy) Osborne, he married Toni Thomas on April 10, 1977, in DeKalb.
William was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked for Barber-Greene in DeKalb for 20 years, then was employed by Northern Illinois University as a stationary engineer, retiring after 20 years of service.
William enjoyed watching car races, especially NASCAR and was a longtime member of the DeKalb Moose and the American Legion
Survivors include his daughter, Jeannette (Adam) Antink; two grandsons, William Antink and Victor Antink; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Toni, in 2008.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178. Burial will be private.

Jeanette, these cousins of Bill are out here in the Phoenix AZ area and so will be unable to attend his memorial tribute. Bill and Aunt Mercedes and Uncle Noble were some of our favorite people especially when they lived across the road and up the lane from our family when we lived on Chicago road south of Waterman. May you have Peace in your heart and know that your trip back to see your dad just a few weeks ago was a wonderful gift to him. God bless you all....Dolores (Moudy) and Duane Charlesworth
