Brodie G. McGrath, 50, of Bourbonnais, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025.
He was born December 16, 1974, in Kankakee, the son of Timothy J. and Linda K. (Gordon) McGrath Sr. He was the dedicated owner and operator of Service Master Bulding Maintenance since 1998. Brodie loved flying his drone and enjoyed buying gifts for people. Most of all he was a dedicated father, grandfather, and uncle.
Brodie is survived by his son, Jordan McGrath of Bradley; granddaughter, Charlotte McGrath; parents, Timothy Sr. and Linda McGrath of Bourbonnais; siblings, Timothy Jr. (Stephanie) McGrath of Bourbonnais, Jeremy McGrath of Bourbonnais, and Emily McGrath of Bourbonnias; significant other, Cecilia Flanner of Bourbonnais; son at heart, Jace Lewis; nephews and niece, Ethan (Kelsey) McGrath of Manteno, Connor McGrath of Fort Meyers, FL, Liam McGrath of Bourbonnais, Lilly Olena of Bourbonnais, and Alexander McGrath of Bourbonnais; and great nephew, Pierce James McGrath.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer McGrath; and nephew, Graham McGrath.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 2 p.m. until the service at 5 p.m. at Jensen Funeral Home, Kankakee. Burial will be private at All Saints Cemetery, Bourbonnais.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran School, Bourbonnais.
Jensen Funeral Home, Kankakee is handling the arrangements.
