Remember, O Lord, Your servant, Alma, who has gone before us with the sign of faith and rests in the sleep of peace. To her O Lord, and to all who rest in Christ, we entreat You to grant a place of comfort, of light and peace. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

To the Family of Alma,
I met Alma many years ago through a friend when she had her shop in Evergreen. Alma gave me my first facial and also did the hair and make-up for all just about all my bridesmaids and for me on my wedding day. Alma was a beautiful, friendly, and a fun person who really loved her job and shared her specialty with so many girls and women throughout the years. She will be missed by many! May she rest in peace with her son who she missed so dearly.

I also met Alma when I was 16. I loved the obituary that was written. It was Alma. I am so sad. She is such a loss. Greg was such a loss as well. I only wish that I can do something, but I do not know right now what that would be. What I can say is that I love her. And I miss her. Teri

Greg was my brother when I was growing up in Downers Grove. Alma was like my mother. She always has words of guidance and inspiration for me. I spoke with Alma before I went on my vacation December 26th and I am happy I was able to tell her that I loved her. I will miss her dearly.

Dear Family of Alma:
My sister called me today to tell me about Alma's passing. I am very saddened regarding this wonderful, special woman leaving this earth. Alma was and still is an inspiration. I met Alma when I was 16 or 17 (I am now 40), I was mesmerized by her beauty, her knowledge of the beauty industry and her infecious laugh. Alma gave me my 1st facial. She opened my eyes to a new world of beauty with her skin care and make up products. Alma did my make up for my senior prom as well as a few of my freinds. Alma made you feel good. Alma made you feel beautiful. I even worked at her shop on Sundays in Evergreen Park (where I use to live). I followed Alma to Downers Grove but through the years hadn't seen her often. Alma was devistated beyond belief regarding the loss of her wonderful, caring, son, Greg who I also knew. May these two loving souls be joined together once again. I am so sorry about your loss. Alma will be missed so dearly. She was and will always be a wonderful woman who I can honestly say that I am proud to have known. Alma, thank you for being YOU!
May God Bless you ALL.
Sincerely,
Lynn La Bash Murphy

Our deepest regrets to the Palma family. We met Alma many years ago, and I do remember how she made you feel so comfortable around her. My Mom had her hair done by Alma's brother, Asis for many years. We will share those wonderful memories always.
