So sad to hear of Charles passing! He always made us laugh & had a happy personality. It´s been a long time since I´ve seen him, but won´t ever forget him! He let me take a puff off his cigar & forgot to tell me not to inhale it!! Lol!
Prayers to all of Charlie´s familiy.

My heart is broken upon learning of your death today! To Charley's family I extend my condolences. Charley and I were good friends when we were in high school and beyond. Darren Fries, Charley and I hung around with each other a lot back in those days. I have many fond memories of the crazy stuff we got into. Rest in peace my friend! I'm sorry I will not be able to attend the memory service, as I will be out of town that day.

Charlie and my mom were together roughly 1993-2001. I was In 6th grade when I met him and was immediately intimidated because of his size. I Quickly learned what a big teddy bear he was. My father wasnt in my life then, and I had never known a father's love or called a man dad until Charlie. He taught me how to drive on the long trips to his mom's in that blazer, got me my first car, taught me how to balance a checkbook and how to budget financially, how I should be treated by a man, and what the role of a father was. I will never forget him and will always love him. I'm so sorry for everyone's loss.

Charlie was a great guy, he taught me how to drive a stick shift on the school district truck while I worked as a janitor for the schools as a teenager. My sympathies to his family.
