Well it´s another year without you and we miss you as much today as the day you left 9 years ago.

Time has not diminished how much we miss you and our memories are ever fresh in our minds. You were so simpatico and creative in all that you did. Decorating your apartment with pieces of garage sale items was a work of art and the placing of your pictures on the wall were perfectly arranged. You were the rose whisperer who grew the most amazing roses and made the world a better place. Thank you for the memories Chet.

It was an unbelievably sad day to see the last of my brother's leave so suddenly. His loved ones miss him terribly and keep him in our hearts until we meet again Chet.

Chester (Chet) was a good man who tried his best to be a good son to his father Setimio and his step mother Rose, known as Nonni to all of the grandchildren. He enjoyed photography and was always making me (his ex-wife) and the kids pose for pictures. It seemed annoying at the time but everyone is thankful to have those photographs now. He will be remembered fondly by his children, grandchildren, nieces, sister and many other family members and friends. Chester was persistent in those things that caught his interest - stock market, sports (Bears and Cubs), photography, gardening, beta fish and garage sales to name a few. His life was lived with determination and intent and he has left a legacy that his family can be proud of. He will be missed by many and that is a great accomplishment.

Chet was a great uncle. There is not a time in my life that I don't remember him being there. His death is very unexpected and comes with much saddness. I truly thought we had so much more time. Thank God I spent his birthday and Thanksgiving with him. I only wish I could have been there to see if I could have helped in his final day. He was so interesting and had so much to say. That is not to say that he was perfect. He was deeply flawed as are we all, but I loved him just the same.

Chet has traveled through life with quiet resolve - a multi talented man who meticulously studied flowers and plants and grew them to perfection. An avid sports enthusiast and die-hard Cub fan. A gifted photographer and one who dabbled in art, and loved garage sales. Seen here at his last birthday dinner at Scrementi's.
