When I started working 10 years ago, I sat with Dave for 1 day to learn about his position. I did not anyone and I had to ask him multiple questions, at the same time hoping I was not annoying him. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. He was very friendly and we got along great. After that we always got along and could share jokes with one another. He is a great guy and will be missed.

I was able to get to know David a bit last year, as our girls were in the same class. A couple weeks ago,I was lucky enough to see a friendly face and talk to him for a bit at a classmates birthday party. He was always very personable and friendly. Seemed to have a lot of fun with the kids too!

David brought a peace of mind on some of the most haywired days of logistics. It was always a pleasure to converse with him over the phone.He had a very charismatic, bright and warm personality. Dear Pettiford Family,
I was so shocked and saddened to hear about David. I have many fond Scouting memories with the Pettiford boys. I also remember seeing David struggling in High School football and telling him to just keeping pushing through it. He was a great person. He will be missed.
While I know his death was sudden and tragic, please know the Lord is with you in this time of grief. His Love is with David as he transitions from this life to eternal life in heaven. Put your faith, your struggles, and your grief in his hands and he will get you through this tough time.
We don't have answers for why these things happen, but we can take solace that His Love will get us through it.
