Dear Sharon and Family,

Just heard about Dave's passing and are sending you our heartfelt sympathy. He was a wonderful man and we remember how dedicated he was to our children in Little League. He was a great coach and mentor to the kids. We will keep you in our prayers.

God Bless the Thiery Family, Your father Dave, taught me how to live as a better person. Dave and myself are both former U.S. Marines. Dave showed me what it is, and how to to have faith.Unfortunately, I should have listened closer to Dave.I havent talked to Dave in a couple years. However, I truly wished I would have called him, and thanked him for helping me !! more than anyone else would consider!!!! I love you DAve, Kevin Walsh, SEMPER FI!! Marine!!!!!!!!

God Bless the Thiery Family! I was blessed to meet Dave. We had a lot in common, we were both Marines and a little crazy(in a good way).Unforntunatly we fell out of touch (my drinking).I used to kid with Dave and say " Yo, you got the AA van" Dave was selfless and touched many people through his faith in a higher power.I just wish I could have called Dave and thanked him for helping me. I love you Marine, SEmper Fi! , Kevin Walsh USMC.

Dear Sharon, Jeff and Jeremy,

I was saddened to hear the news of Dave's passing! I just found out today. He was an important figure in my life while I was growing up. He was both a great basketball & baseball coach and friend. He donated so much of his time to teach us the fundamentals of the game and the importance of respect on and off the playing field. And, I will never forget him. He will be missed. I can truly appreciate the sorrow you all must feel. I too, lost my father this past March. Please extend my condolences to the rest of your family. We will keep you all in our prayers.

I knew Dave from the Campbell on Kedzie group. Fred B informed me Sunday night of Dave's passing. As a Viet-Nam vet I share the loss of a great defender and a oustanding man. Dave will be greatly missed.
