Gary was awesome. I was always lucky enough to catch him kayaking to Pam or Joe's house in Ludington. He always had a smile on his face, and made me feel connected to a broader community. Thank you, Gary, for your service, for your friendship, and for your memories.

I am deeply sorry to family, friends and colleagues of Gary. This is a huge loss. My heart goes out to you.

To Gary's girlfriend Melissa.Cunha my heart breaks for you.

My parents Pat and Frank Longo are your Mom's next door neighbor. I still can't say WERE. I know your pain and hurt. I didn't ever meet Gary but the beautiful giving loving man he was earned him Heaven. He has been rewarded and is with God. This doesn't help your heartache but it should comfort you all to know what a gift Gary was to those who loved him, worked with him, we're friends of his.

I'm very sorry for your loss and will pray for Gary and those who loved him.

God Bless,
Lori Longo

I was crushed when I heard the news. So many memories come rushing in. We never spend the time with each other as we should. Not like when we were younger. Life keeps getting in the way of what is truly important. I miss all you guys I truly do. I love you guys!
