Herbert Lustig Obituary
Herbert J. Lustig Jr. age 88 of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on May 1, 2015. Married to Shirley (nee Marthaler) on November 25, 1950; she preceded him in death in August 1999. He married Barbara (nee Kwasek) on October 4, 2002. He was the loving father to nine children; Barbara (Michael) George, Diane (John) Nahra, Lawrence (Carol) Lustig, Jeanne (Bryan) Lyons, Patricia (Michael) Jordan, Pamela (Michael) Sass, Thomas Lustig, Michael (Florence) Lustig, Kristine (Jon) Morgan; stepfather to Jacqueline (Anthony) LeGraff and Annette Raines. Herbert was the cherished grandfather to nineteen and great grandfather of seven; step grandfather of three and step great grandfather of two. He was a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Herbert was the owner of H. Lustig Construction Company and served proudly in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Arrangements entrusted to Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street, Crete, Illinois. Info: 708-672-7600. Interment and Memorial Service will be at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, Illinois on May 30, 2015 at 11:00AM. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association in Herbert's name.
