Pickens Family,
My condolence go out to the Pickens family. Words can not express the emotions that i am feeling right now. I just got off the phone with a close friend of mine who i met Jeff through, whom told me about what happened. Jeff Pickens was not only a stand up man, but he was an inspiration to me, and taught me never to give up and always to give 100%. Jeff Pickens will be in my heart forever, as a kind, caring, outgoing, funny, motivational, well spoken, respectable man. There are not enough good things that i can say about Mr. Pickens, but i can say that i do owe many thanks to Jeff Pickens for how he has motivated me in my life.
You will never be forgotten......

Dear Joanie and family,
Words cannot describe the saddness we feel for your loss. We were so excited to be a part of what Jeff was working on and it was always fun to be around him. Jeff was always so concerned about others and treating all of his subs fairly, he was truly inspirational.
I hope you and your family will cherish all of the wonderful memories you have, we will.

Dearest Joanie (as Isabel calls you)
and Jeff's Mom Colleen and Dad.
I met Jeff through Isabel and he was
always there with her best interest's
in mind.
It was a pleasure to meet him, call
him and watch how he cared for the
older generation,what a nice addition
he built to the farmhouse..and
Evergreen View is outstanding.
I am so shocked and saddened to
hear of his passing. He left a huge
legacy behind, a wonderful wife
and family and yes those Tripletts...
He was proud to have his son go
to NIU. May God Bless all of You and
mostly Jeff. Sincerely, Sharon Novotny - First Midwest Bank

Joan and Family,
I knew Jeff briefly through my previous employer (Paul).
When I heard of Jeff's passing, I stopped to pray for you and your family.
The man I met so many years ago, was one of the nicest persons I have ever met. Always smiling, and kind.
There are no words that can make the pain of losing Jeff go away, but I hope that you find comfort in the many warm thoughts of those who care.

Jeff built my home, but more than that build a loving and supporting neighborhood. Our deepest condolences goes out to the Pickens family and especially to the triplets. We now send over our love and support whose seeds were planted in us by Jeff to you in this tragic time.
Remember that Jeff loves you girls and often spoke of you fondly. Support each other during these times and focus on school. Try to put on those smiley giggly faces that I have seen on you when you visited with the Dubboseh kids. You will be in my prayers and everyone else.

I dont know if you remember me but I was a teller at Tinley Park Bank I adored you and Jeff together and remember when you were pregnant with the triplets. I am shocked to see his notice in the paper and I have no idea what happened to him.
I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Life is so unpredictable and it is so difficult when someone is so young. Please know that I will pray for strength for you and your family to carry on.
