Dear joanie and family,I am so sorry to hear of the loss of jeff. I just happen to see the newspaper today and I read about his death. I can't tell you how sorry I am for you and your family. I wish I had known sooner I would have been there for you as I know what your going through.Please call me I would help you with anything you need. Even if you need to just talk, please I am here for you. I've known both of you for a long time and I feel so bad I just found out the sad news. Pickens Family,
My condolence go out to the Pickens family. Words can not express the emotions that i am feeling right now. I just got off the phone with a close friend of mine who i met Jeff through, whom told me about what happened. Jeff Pickens was not only a stand up man, but he was an inspiration to me, and taught me never to give up and always to give 100%. Jeff Pickens will be in my heart forever, as a kind, caring, outgoing, funny, motivational, well spoken, respectable man. There are not enough good things that i can say about Mr. Pickens, but i can say that i do owe many thanks to Jeff Pickens for how he has motivated me in my life.
You will never be forgotten......

Joan, and family,
I am shocked and terribly saddened by the news of Jeff. I learned about this from someone that stopped in Brewmaster today. I had no idea. I am so sorry Joan. I knew Jeff briefly through my previous employer (Paul).
When I heard of Jeff's passing, I stopped to pray for you and your family.
The man I met so many years ago, was one of the nicest persons I have ever met. Always smiling, and kind.

Jeff built my home, but more than that build a loving and supporting neighborhood. Our deepest condolences goes out to the Pickens family and especially to the triplets. We now send over our love and support whose seeds were planted in us by Jeff to you in this tragic time.
Remember that Jeff loves you girls and often spoke of you fondly. Support each other during these times and focus on school. Try to put on those smiley giggly faces that I have seen on you when you visited with the Dubboseh kids. You will be in my prayers and everyone else.

I dont know if you remember me but I was a teller at Tinley Park Bank I adored you and Jeff together and remember when you were pregnant with the triplets. I am shocked to see his notice in the paper and I have no idea what happened to him.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jeff - I worked with him on a number of occasions and he was one of the kindest people I have ever met. He adored his children and spoke of them often. He will be missed by many.
