What a wonderful world this would be if we could all pattern our lives the way he did. A great childhood friend that never faded into adulthood.

In 1976 I met Jerry Meyer in Tinley Park Bank. He arranged a business loan for our Tinder Box in Orland Square. Betsy and I have been loyal friends with Jerry and Vita ever since, sharing many laughs over the years.

Vita and family, we are so saddened to hear of your loss. Jerry was a true gentleman and one of the friendliest guys we knew. He always had a smile and a hello for a friend, and that was just about anyone he ever met. What a wonderful man, the best, truly loved his family. Calumet C.C. will not be the same without his smiling face. May your memories of lovely times together comfort you at this sad time.
