John Wator

age 87, of Frankfort, IL., formerly of Roseland/West Pullman area, passed away on Sunday, May 31st, 2015 in Orland Park, IL. Beloved husband of 65 years to Anna nee Smets; loving father of John A. (Vicki) Wator, James J. (Joan) Wator, Diane C. Vanderpool, and Susan M. (Mark) Dilley; cherished grandfather of John N. (Shalana Jaquess) Wator, Andrea J. (Robert B.) Paladino, Angela D. Wator, Mark J. Wator, Katie A. Dilley, Nicholas E. Dilley, Emma C. Vanderpool, Daniel F. Vanderpool, Eric M. Dilley, Audrey A. Vanderpool, and Joseph M. Dilley; and great-grandfather of Knox Wator and Robert Paladino; dear brother of Anna (late Albert) Kulig, late Helen (late John) Woryn, and Jacob (Marianne) Wator; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. John graduated from Pullmnan Tech class of 1946, and coached the Roseland Little League from 1959 to 1966. He was a 50 year employee of M.H. Dietrick Co. in Mokena, member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd degree, and member and usher at St. Anthony Church in Frankfort. Family will receive friends on Friday June 5, 2015 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort Il 60423. Funeral service Saturday, June 6, 2015 with chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7695 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
