I knew michelle since 6tth grade. I saw how over the years the two of us went from awkward pre teens to teenagers rebellious and unstoppable to rebellious college kids kids. Michelle had more life in her than anyone i ever knew and she really touched my life. she taught me that life is about living no merely living on the sidelines she brought to my life laughter a laugh so large you had to really know her to know it was the life of a genius. her life was only exceeded by her brains and it is my sincerest wish that i can live up to her example. My condolences to the family.

I had the fortune to meet Michelle at my daughter's wedding just a few days before her passing. It was a blessing the family was all together to see her one last time. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as you make it through this rough time,

I met Michelle only once at a family wedding just a week ago last Friday. She was the daughter of my beloved cousin, Jodie. We were introduced and I remember how she danced the night away at the wedding. I'm so glad I got a chance to meet her.

I met Michelle only a few times and my main memory of her is of a lovely young girl, a bundle of energy bursting out into giggles, a restless spirit and a loving soul. I am Kaylin Maanum's mother. So, I knew Michelle through my daughter. Michelle's giving spirit guided those around her. She walked with two friends through serious illness; one she with through her final days. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Michelle.

We are very sorry for your loss. The Kane’s have our sincerest sympathies. Michelle could always bring a smile to anyone’s face. She was the favorite babysitter of my daughters and like a little sister to me. Michelle will always have a place in our hearts and minds and will be greatly missed.

Michelle you made an impact on the lives of everyone you came in contact with including mine...i've known you since forever and there's never a day that you wouldn't keep me on my toes with excitment...being around you puts a smile on everyones face...and it will continue to put a smile on mine even though your gone you will still continue to make me happy with the memories that we shared...you are a great person michelle and i don't think many people took the time to realize that...but i did and for that you will be deeply missed...I LOVE U MICHELLE!!!

To my dear cousin, I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of Michelle's passing. To think I just had the opportunity to meet her a few days before. I felt like I knew her well from all of your Christmas letters. Know that my thoughts and prayers are always with you and your family and I know that Michelle will be welcomed to the "heaven bridge club" that is going on with all her Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. I cant imagine how you must feel at this moment but you have my prayers and my thoughts will be forever with you. I do thank you all for raising Michelle to be the wonderful person she was. The time I was given at school to know her, she was the very essence of joy. I take comfort in knowing she is at peace in a world where there is no pain, no more tears, no sadness but the joy of the Lord no surrounds her.

I honestly can say that God will be with you through this tough time. Michelle is being taken care of by Our Lord. She is looking down at you right now awaiting to see all of you again. Michelle is my niece's best friend. I've known her since probably she and Em were in 7th grade. She was at every Halloween party, they went to dances at HF, graduated together - she was like an extra niece I guess. I know my family will miss her terribly. I know my Em will. Michelle - I'll miss your cheery smile and happy greeting when I pick up my sourdough - you are one of a kind and we were so lucky to have known you. Although the time we shared was brief - the impact you've made is timeless. God Bless and hold you. That smile will beam for eternity in our hearts.

I met Michelle my senior year at HF when she was a sophomore. We were on Model UN together and we shared a room at MUNUC at the Palmer House. I remember that time so fondly and I was so happy last year when I found out that she was going to be with me at Prairie State. I miss her so much and I wish I could have talked to her more and see her smiling face when I walk into the Barnes and Noble bookstore and when she comes to the cafe to order Nachos. She was a wonderful friend and I will always remember the good times. The song Hey Ya by Outkast means more now, that is the song we danced to together at the MUNUC dance because we both had boyfriends at the time and just decided to stick together that night. She will never be forgotten

I send my deepest sympathy and condolences. I met Michelle at H-F my sophmore year and immediately loved being around her. She brought such energy and happiness to any place she was. We escorted each other to Turnabout and she made it a memorable night. I may have only known her a year, but she still made life that much better. I am going to miss Michelle and give my deepest condolences to her family.

I didn't meet Michelle until High School, but she was a person to always be able to brighten up your day. I'll cherish the randomness of lunches we had during high school, and the craziness that was the midnight premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean at World's end. I recently met Michelle while working at the Pioneer Cafe that is located inside of Prairie State College. She was always happy and willing to give a kind word, she seemed really sweet and I feel bad that I will never get the chance to know her more. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I first met Michelle in junior high, I think in seventh grade. I only truly got to know her during freshman year, largely through a mutual friend. We dated for six months during our sophomore year. Michelle remained a close and dear friend after that. We didn't hang out as often as I wish we had, because we were both so busy so often, but she was still a valued and cherished friend. I could always trust Michelle with anything. Nothing was ever too trivial, too bothersome, or too anything for Michelle to be willing to help. Even this past year, freshman year of college, when I was 1000 miles away, she was still there for me. Some nights, when I felt down and didn't know what to do or who to talk to, I called Michelle, because I knew that she'd be there for me, no matter what, even at 2 AM. I always told myself I ought to spend more time with her; just the other day, I meant to call her and ask when we could hang out again before I left for Boston. I now wish I had, just so I could have reminded her how important she was to me. Michelle, you have always mattered to me, and I miss you so much. You will always have a place in my heart and I will treasure the time I had with you. Your family has my deepest condolences, and I only wish there were more I could offer them to make their grief easier.

I've known Michelle since 9 years ago in orchestra at Parker. Though we didn't hang out very often, we still got to see each other every now and then. There truly was never a dull moment when we got to see her. She was always full of joy and energy. I'll miss you Michelle. Love ya, and I'll never forget you.
