Tomaszkiewicz, age 82, retired Captain USMC Veteran, Beloved husband of the late Frances "Pat"; Loving father of Mitchell, Maripat (late Charles) Zeschke, Maribeth (Matthew) O'Connell, Marijo (Tyler) Marcoux, Michael and Marc; Loving Grandpa of Samantha, Charley, Christopher, Michelle, Grace and Bill; Dear brother of Richard (Lucia), late Jean Ford, late Manya (late Steve) Diliberto and the late Peter (Judy). Retired Allstate Insurance agent for many years, longtime parishioner of St. Albert the Great Church and longtime resident of Alvernia Manor in Lemont. Sincere condolences on Mr. T's passing. Although he inspired some fear as a child, you could always tell there was the heart of a teddy bear behind it.
The little time he and I shared in Austin in recent years really revealed that heart. I truly looked forward to his trips down here and the time we could hang out and talk about old times.

So long "bro". you were the brother I had although we had different parents. We shared many times and "events" together Thanks for the many time you took care of Mom while I was far away. Know you're with the angels now and save a place for me.

We shared many times together and thanks for reminding me that although I was many miles from "home" I was still there. I know you're with the angels and save a place for me. My sincere condolences to the entire Tomaszkiewicz family. I will always cherish my childhood memories of visiting Mr. and Mrs. "Tomas", across from my grandparents' home on Maplewood Avenue in Chicago. He was truly one of a kind, with quick wit and a genuinely warm heart. May he rest in peace.
