I recently found out Paul passed, I had no idea. I very seldom keep in contact anymore with anyone from those Palos South/West days, since many of us have gone in opposite directions. When I heard about this I was speechless. I will keep you all in my prayers as well as Paul. I will never forget the past, God Bless you all.

Aloha Mrs. Arpin, Scott, & Corey,
I just found out from Justin. I had my cell changed. I can only say now, that my bestest friend will live on in my heart forever - I will see to that. I love him so much, and all of you. I would never be where I am today, if Paul never loved me as much as he did, and made me feel like I was the greatest thing in his life. Paul was always such a sweet, nice, funny, outgoing, loving, and honest friend. Paul was always there for me when I needed him, and even when I didn't know I did. In all of my travels, I have never met anyone like him at all. He was and always will be my bestest friend. I wish I was there. He was the bestest friend a girl could ever ask for. Much aloha.

I am saddened hearing the news today of Paul's death. In all the years of my knowing Paul his gentle and easy-going nature were apparent. I am comforted by memories of Paul, particularly his fascination one day with several cardinals that were hanging around my window. Paul and I got some long looks at the brilliantly red birds. Paul suggested I put birdseed out for them.

Wishing for you to fondly remember Paul, thinking of him each time you see a cardinal.
