Theodore J. "Ted" Skirnick, 78, of Blue Island, beloved husband of the late Socorro Madrigal Skirnick, loving father of Susan M. Franklin, dear step-father of Robert J. Madrigal Sr., Thomas J. Madrigal Jr., Kenneth J. Madrigal, Steven J. Madrigal and James J. Madrigal Sr., devoted grandfather of two, step-grandfather of fifteen and step great-grandfather of eleven, fond brother of John Skirnick ,Terri Madison and Ron Skirnick. Veteran of US Navy. Visitation Sunday, August 28, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service Monday, 10:00 am at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 S. Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Cremation private. I worked with Ted at Blue M in the 80s and 90s. Just a wonderful person and friend. I just heard about his passing today. My sympathies, however late they are, to the family.
