NNETT Walter J. Bennett, age 89, US Army Veteran of WWII, late of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2006. Cherished husband of late Violet D. nee Johnson. Loving father of Joan (Matthew) Prinz, Barbara (Kenn) Wiest, and Ken (Rochele) Bennett. Devoted brother of Forest (C.J.) Bennett, Frances (late Rosemary) Bennett, late Leo Bennett, and late Florence (late Eugene) Stalbaum. Beloved grandfather of Krystyn Yordon and Douglas Bennett. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Life member of Rhine VFW Post #2729. Funeral service Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 10 am at the Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 3 pm until 9 pm. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. 708-423-1600 or 773-723-0876.
