David John Yazzie
April 10, 1936 - July 7, 2012
David John Yazzie Sr., 76, of Two Grey Hills, passed from this life on Saturday, July 7, 2012, in Two Grey Hills. He was born on April 10, 1936, in Two Grey Hills to John and Mary Alice Yazzie. .
He was an Evangelist and preached at different churches when he was needed. He attend Newcomb Christian Reformed Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katherine Yazzie; 3 daughters, Patricia (James) Eaton, of Huerfano; Teresa (Larry) Workman, of Portland, Ore., Lisa Yazzie, of Two Grey Hills, Edwin (Julie) Yazzie, of Ya Tah Hey, and Edmond Yazzie, of Two Grey Hills; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Yazzie Jr.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, at Newcomb Christian Reformed Church, in Newcomb.
Interment will follow at the Toadlena Community Cemetery (south side), in Toadlena.
David is in the care of Desert View Funeral Home, North US Highway 491, in Shiprock 505-368-4607.
