I would tell him, "I wish I had a Jack in my pocket." So that I may pull him and his love and wisdom out when I needed it. I now realize, more than ever, that I have Jack in my heart and mind forever. He taught only love, for that is what he is.

Dear Anna and Family, we are so very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. We so loved Jack! Our greatest memory of Jack would be listening to him burst into song during teaching at Fellowship of Spirit. He was great and such a good friend too! We will always miss him but be so grateful for his presence in our lives. God's peace be with each of you, Nancy and George Woodman

Jack is for me, that rare example of a man wearing his belief in and awareness of a universal truth like a blanket he was willing to share. That truth "love your neighbor".

Bishop Fowler was a very loving and friendly person. I will always remember him as our Bishop at the Shiprock LDS ward back in the late 70's. He will be dearly missed. He lived a good long and respectful life. Condolences to the family and to his wife Anna. Prayers to you all

My deepeset condolences to the family; Rev. Fowler was a part of 'our' wedding party, as 'our' organist back in 1980. He was a cheeful person, who had a smile. He joins our beloveded ones who also were apart of our wedding party.
May you all find comfort in our lord and savior.

It is with great sadness but respect that I learn of Jack's passing. I will never forget his warm introduction and welcome of me when in 1968 we chanced to meet on the steps of the old BIA Agency building in Shiprock, enroute to our teaching assignment in Aneth.
I send kindest regards to Anna and all the family, especially Katrina and children and son in law Myron. May peace find each of you.

Mr. Fowler was our teacher at Shiprock BIA School. I remember seeing him the first time, the tall big man who a booming voice. But we got to know him as a kind, caring teacher. He told us he was married to a beautiful Navajo lady so he knew alot about us. He was very encouraging and supportive to us as Navajo children. We had a lot of respect for him.
