Estella Begay Lopez

Estella Begay Lopez, 83, of Nageezi, died on Thursday, May 24, 2012, in Farmington. She was born April 12, 1929, in Kimbeto, to Tsosie Begay and Elizabeth Maize Begay. Her clans are Kin'yaa aanii and Hooshautan.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed weaving and puzzles.
Estella is survived by her sons, Tyler, Fred III, Larry, Gary and Ernest Lopez; her daughters, Nellie Willie, Nora Padilla, Cynthia Lopez, Christine Harrison, Josephine Lopez and Alice Lopez-Castillo; her parents; her brothers, Andrew T. and Gene T. Begay and her sister, Pauline W. Begay; her 41 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Gary Lopez Jr., Kody Dean Chavez, Tillerson Willie, Charlie Becenti, Brandon Dean Chavez and Andrew Thompson.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Friday, June 1, at Brethren in Christ Mission, in Otis, with Rev. Raymond Sales officiating.
Interment will follow at the B.I.C. Mission Cemetery in Otis.
Arrangements are with Cope Memorial Chapel Kirtland, 458 County Road 6100, 505-598-9636.

To Nora and Christine and other family members: my sincerest condolences to you all for the loss of your mom. Its a great loss when you lose your mom but know that she's at peace and home with the Lord. My thoughts and prayers and God bless your family as you stay united.

my sincere sympathy to the family of Estella Lopez, she was a very sweet lady whom i got to know thru her daughters Cynthia and Christine. Please be assured that she has returned to her Heavenly Father and now resting in His Loving Arms. Cherish the beautiful memories she left with you all. Yes, You will miss her but those memories are the one's that will keep you going strong. God Bless.

My condolences to the Begay-Lopez family....I would see Stella on occasions at the clinic...she was always happy and smiling at everyone...She was a caring and loving lady...RIP Stella

My condolences to the Lopez family...Stella was a sweet lady she liked to fellowship and ask bout ppl she hasn't seen and always asked for prayer..she's in a better place now wher thers no more suffering...
