Joe Kee Begay Jr.
Jan. 6, 1962 - Nov. 18, 2009
Joe Kee Begay Jr., 47, of Shiprock, passed from this life on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at Northern Navajo Medical Center. He was born Jan. 6, 1962, in Shiprock.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Abe Cheiizon; grandmother, Mary Bitsillie; and a brother, Gerald Begay.
Joe is survived by his parents, Joe Kee Sr. and Lillie Begay; sons, Joe Kee III and Marcus Begay; brothers, Lloyd Begaye (Cindy), Gilbert Begaye (Colleen); sisters, Rosalyn Jackson (John), Lula Begay (John), Lucille Jones, Shawna Begay; and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many loved ones, friends and relatives.
Funeral services for Joe will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Four Corners Community Church in Shiprock. Pastor Eric Lee will officiate.
Interment will be at Shiprock Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Gilbert Begaye, Tyrsis Begay, Jody Benally, Joey Benally, Elmer Curley Charles Phillips, Everett Manygoats and Clifford Skow.
