Lisa Ann Smith, 44, of Farmington, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington. Lisa was born on Sept. 18, 1970, in Farmington. She was raised by Hughlett and Laura Smith and grew up in Aztec. She is survived by family and friends. She was preceded in death by Hughlett and Laura Smith. She graduated from Aztec High School and was a member of First Baptist Church in Aztec. She loved to play softball, crochet, draw, watch movies, read and spend time with her beloved pets. The beauty of her soul and her tremendous artistic talents were reflected in her hands. Lisa faced her illness with courage, strength and determination. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was devoted to those she loved. Though she faced many challenges in this life she always had a smile on her face. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Lisa will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, at the Bloomfield First Baptist Church Chapel, 200 W. Sycamore Ave. in Bloomfield, with pastor Monty Mullenix officiating.
