Michael Morrelle Barks
Oct. 2, 1963 – April 19, 2011
Michael Morrelle Barks, 47, of Bakersfield, Calif., joined his grandparents, Miles and Goldie Barks, Sylvan and Opal Jack, and other loved ones in his heavenly home on Tuesday morning, April 19, 2011, after a lengthy illness. Michael was born and raised in Farmington.
He graduated from Farmington High School in 1982. In 1985, he moved with his family to Bakersfield, where he met "Inga" Ingram, who became his wife of 23 years.
Michael is survived by his wife Inga Barks; sons, Soloman, Samuel and Joshua; his parents, Alan and Oleen Barks, all of Bakersfield; brothers, Mark Barks of Hawaii and Leonard Lee; nephew, Logan Lee of Oregon. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Michael will be greatly missed. He was truly loved by all who knew him and was an inspiration to many.

Inga, God Bless you and the boys. I'll always remember Michael and his Coleman Homes crew of guys who saved the day at T.J.'s Pre-School by erecting the new playground equipment. We didn't know it would come in 200 pieces but led by Michael they swooped in and made it happen for the kids.
